Chkdsk inserting an index entry with id into index of file 9

01/08/2010 · The Chkdsk, while booting, does not freeze. It keeps on displaying this text "Inserting an index entry into Index $0 of file 25" repeatedly. Also, HDD activity light blinks. Tried System Restore to an earlier date, but of no success. System Restore could not complete the restoration. I plan to run chkdsk for overnight. If unsuccessful, I'll try
